Changed My Wheels Today
The plan was to fit these in the spring, but once I got the tyres on them it had to be done
Well chuffed, big thanks to Mags for the wheels and Eastern tyres in Harwich for sorting me a deal on the tyres and fitting them without marking the rims

Thanks Guys, gradually getting the car how I want it while becoming poorer
I got the nuts from Mags, I paid a little more and had the red instead of the ones that would have been supplied with the wheels. They are Titan steel nuts.
I had the standard Hawk 17" wheels on having only had the car a few months, which are a bit bland looking but they'll do for the next winter when I've made them look a little funkier lol.
Much appreciated
Tim

They look very good, what wheels did you have on before?
Much appreciated

Looks lovely mate, I have a set of GRAs on my bugeye. Mags the top man for wheels and tyres.
I have just got some black titan wheel bolts and lockers from him after a nightmare with my old alloy nuts

Nice WRX. What's next?
I have planned an Any Forrest Hybrid TD04 and another mapping session, but might get some sexier looking discs and change the pads first now that I can see so much more of them. As has already been suggested on this thread, suspension is also in my thoughts, although I don't want to make it too harsh or low as I use the car for transporting the family and will be lugging a lot of fishing gear across farm tracks when the weather improves. I am reasonably happy with the car's handling as it holds up well enough to get to the limits of my driving capabilities. I have already fitted struts and solid drops so will likely do the anti roll bars, bushes all round and re paint the suspension units currently on the car to make them look nicer in the arches. Thanks for the encouraging comments, they highlight the biggest benefit of a forum like this, which is having a bit of banter with like minded people and by seeing what others do with their cars, it helps a relative newcomer like myself get an idea of what's likely to enhance the car without making it a laughing stock
Many thanks
Tim
