We took three new STi's through the forest at about 8am last weekend and managed to get some rather nice pics with the cars sitting in mist... you can check out the photos here:

Actually... one thing worth noting with that.. is that one of the guys (the silver STi) had a small stone get jammed inbetween the small clearence of the wheel and the front caliper.. the stone ended up taking a fair chunk out of the paint which is something you might want to look out for..

Cool

Gorgeous pic mate, you are very lucky living where you do, it's a beautiful country. I hope to get there next year on my honeymoon.

Pic is improved further with the inclusion of the Scoobs!

The roads through that particular area are a heap of fun to drive through, and the scenery just adds to it all. Heaps of fun for all!

Someone I know is working on a camera mount and plans to do a run through the spur and get some footage... should be really good... he's manufacturing his own mount which will bolt onto the mounts for the fog lamps behind the STi covers... I'll give you a yell when he's come up with something and post a link

Speaking of decent photos... here's one I took from one of the later rounds of the WRX championship in Oz:

And no.. the photo hasn't been changed in photoshop or any other program for that matter..

You can see more pics of the same round of the championship here:

Wink

Thanks for that, much appreciated. Although I can't take the credit for the top one, that was taken by a friend of mine. Unfortunately driving through the mountains at speed causes a fair bit of wear n tear on the tires, so I might have to slow it down a little in future... damn good fun though!

The guy who is making the mount is nearly done and has done some peliminary testing which has come up fairly well... hopefully I'll be able to get some footage off him to put up here, should be within the next couple of days..
