Default The Evolution of my Subaru......

...no pun intended.

I got the car backin early 2008 and being perfectly honest, it wasn't in the best of nick but it had a fresh engine and drove well.

It started out like this and it's gone through a few cosmetic changes to get to a position where i was happy with it.

Here it was when I first got it:

First up on my list were to sort the wrecked rear brakes, change the wheels and generally tidy it up. Here's how it looked after a couple of weeks:

I finally got round to dropping it a bit that winter - standard ride height at the back with a 35mm drop at the front. Also added some subtle STi branding - but appear to have forgotten how to clean it going by the pic:

Managed to get hold of a 3" Titanium exhaust so that was fitted as were a set of 18" Old Skool MOs for winter 2009 as I knew the car would be getting a full refresh early 2010:

And now it's in it's final evolution before the hunt for big power starts this winter. A full repaint, wheel refurb, revised graphics, new black flaps and crystals (not in pics), small plate, braided hoses, DBA's and I went HKS-daft and kitted the car out with everything HKS (3" Ti-Tip, SSQV, Reg etc) that I could as I like a theme:

FMIC to go on over the winter along with new blower, injectors and ECU. The box is making some funky noises as it is so I think i'll be rebuilding that and then see how it goes from there.

Would like to fit a reverse scoop once it's done and then I think I'll be totaly happy with the car.......until a set of 18" Turini's turn up that is.

Cheers

JK

It's been a while since I updated the thread but that's mainly because the changes haven't happened as planned.

New box was fitted and I ended up running the car over winter which meant I couldn't start the power chase.

Managed to pick up a set of Turini's to use as my spare wheels and now need a new front bumper due to the snow ripping the splitter off. Hoping to get this done over the next couple of weeks and fit the V5/6 grille to finish it off.

Also bought a Civic Type R on the cheap so now I can have the Sub off the road so will get cracking on some of the other jobs but still want to be able to enjoy the car this summer so it won't be major changes.

Anyway, here's an updated pic with the Turini's and black flaps - sorry for the poor quality. Better pics to come when the front end is looking 100% again:
