Some great shots.

But your ISO settings are far too high on alot of your images. (MAGGYS for example). I appreciate the need for higher ISO on the night shots but on the daytime images theyre far too high.
If you drop your iso but ramp up your apperture with a quicker shutter speed you will fine your images are much sharper and wont have the grain effect on them.

Other than that you have some good images

Frayz, bud, the pics have been tweeked with Photoshop lightroom , it's a totaly different thing from the original taken pics. There are so many aspects i need to work on , and study the Art, but it's just funn for me at the moment. Also , still have no tripod and still reading a book about the camera udjustments.....That's why some of them go out quiet well and others not....

Some very nice pics that you have taken my favourite is the fruit bowl for some reason, it must be the mix of colours and the out of focus images.

I have to agree Im affraid. Good pics and picture topic is superb but the noise in the shaded areas of the pictures are showing alot.
It doesnt matter if the pics are adjusted with software later, that only means its exadurating the origional image. In this case a bit of noise.
Preset settings on youre camera will select the highest ISO usually just so you can take a picture but you have to be getting up in the proffessional range for the factory settng to come out perfect. (Canon 1D Mk 3 Im thinking of)

What camera are you using may I ask. DSLR??
Even if its a point and shoot, alot of them these days come with a load of manual adjustment, like you say, just needs figuring out.
Id hold back on the tripod purchase for now. . . . . once you have got to grips with youre camera you will able to compensate for certain light scenarios as you need. . . .80% of the time being able to get away with shooting without a tripod. Obviously long shutters are the exception.
Keep at it though . . . top bombing!

Looks like ISO settings were 400 and shutter speed was 0.4s for all pictures. Camera is a Sony DSLR A-200 according to the pictures.

Nice pictures BTW, I need a DSLR.
