looks tidy

wheels are a pretty personal choice, on yours i'd say a 17" wheel in anthracite/gunmetal would look a treat, super leggeras are a good choice.......

Heya Guys..here's a bit more infoooo on me new impreza

Model: gc8a48d Code: BJ
Trim Code 320
Colour: 262
Engine Type: Ej20gdw1he
Transmission:Ty752vb3aa

It has a aftermarket air filter (apexi i think if i remember rightly) New Radiator Cap. . Aftermarket Exhaust (need to look closer to find out more..Shame its a oval one!). A Tricky Wee Viper Alarm system witch is one of the best alarm's ive seen. Great for peace of mind (even out here in the stick's).Ferodo brake pad's witch do stop quite nicely( Could be better...my old audi before i i stripped it out to restore it had a better braking feel!!)

What type of engine do you guy's think i have in there...looks clean and run's nicely..no knocking or slap...will get oil changed +filter Etc soon as.im not driving the car about at the moment as im yet to get my license back.(yet im 18!!)

Problems And need To do's:

Clutch has quite a high biting point so i think a new friction plate might be on order soon
front bumper has had some bad repair's done to it so ill be takin that off and trying to sort it out.
Arches at the rear need rubbing down and priming and respraying as there starting to bubble
Passenger side front window take's agesss to go up.
rear spoiler has a slight scratch on the left hand side.
Top of windscreen has had some dodgy Repair done to it...but it;s not leaking so i can sort that later.
THEM GOD AWFUL ALLOY'S!!!!

That's all ive seen and noticed and a thorough look round.

all in all im quite pleased with it...preety good value for a Grand i think. . here's some better picture's of the scoob i took today after a shampoo and wash+wax.

Also like to say thankyou for such a warm welcome very much appreciated!!

it's a wrx i would guess at the 240ps as standard, lose the cone filter and get the standard factory box back on it, your maf will thank you for it, and for reason the fatory dump valve has been removed and totally blanked off, so get yourself a recirc 1 and get it fitted, this was done for turbo chatter while a nice sound your turbo's life is being shortern drasticly, and it will stall every time you change gear under load.......other than that nice car

yeah its a wrx...I was thinking of losing the cone filter and selling it on as it was brand new on the car when i bought it?

Yeah there is some dodgy "diy" solution;s to it...bolt stuck where dump valve?...

Anymore information on here about reverting back to the stock filter....and would it affect the engine as it has a large aftermarket exhaust onit?

thanks

RB5's only come in one colour.

Nice looking car mate, but, as mentioned get a standard re-circ fitted.

Where the arrow is pointing in your pic below is where your re-circ should be;

Hard to tell from the pic, but, I'm going to presume that it would go to the dump valve.

Mine is different, having a front mount, but, to give you an idea of the fitment;

Well due to a unforseen change in circumstance's regarding the house move and changing job's i can no longer keep the impreza in the hope i save enough money to insure it.

So far ive only managed to sort a few minor thing's due to the Audi restoration and packing up for house move. . front bumper crack reparied and primerd.oil change and a slight clean in the engine bay recharge of the battery sorted the dicky passenger window . also sorted the rear arche's. . Would of loved to finished it off and put it's threw it's mot but i just simply cant afford to now.( yes im that skint )

Am sure it wouldnt take more than a few thing's for it's Mot . . would be a great lil project for someone . . just wish i could afford to keep it.

if anyone has a seat leon 1.4 or seat ibiza 1.2 for sale id be interested in a swap. . as them 2 car's are really low on insurance and it's just what a need at the moment. . looking at about £2 k . . or feel free to make me a offer. Car is still currntly sorn and i have the Logbook aswell.

2k or part ex/ Swap with above mentioned car's

Im based near turriff (aberdeenshire) email is : extreme-ways@hotmail.co.uk

ill email you back my number if interested.

One day i will get another scooby!!

thanks Tom

Well look's like i will be keeping my beloved scooby ...After Several viewing's from people that promised to get back in touch never materialised. i think i might just keep her in the meantime.

The Audi Quattro will be put into a empty stable when im back from my Omega (raf Duty) in lancashire at the end of September.,alsong with the scooby..so i can sort them out a little bit and sort out a few thing's.

2 turbocharged car's ...yet to pass my test....( 1 expensive project..the other i have no chance of insuring before im 21). I must be nut's.But the scooby bug bit me to hard to let go in the end.

Anyone have a fuel level sender unit for sale?

extreme-ways@hotmail.co.uk

Thank's guys/...i look forward to meeting a few of you guys once i pass me test (booked for november 16th)

A quick video of the exhaust note first?..what you think?...car doe's sound a little rough as first time been started in a few week's.

2nd video is of the car just after starting...Do's sound quite clunky and at first i thought was knocking...but after the engine's heated up and oil pressure's built up..it's gone away?...Is this a sign of Knocking?..or just noisy due to just being started and coold engine ?

Thanks
