Default My WRX STi prodrive

Hi, scoobynet i'm about 1 week into my 1st foray into scooby ownership and i'm lavvin it!! Me and the wife took her down the road to newstead abbey on friday to take some snaps (doesn't look as good outside a 3 bed semi) so I thought i'd share some with you.
Here they are....

...other than tein coilovers it's not been molested and i love it to bits...it seems to be the general opinion that these could do with an uprated fuel pump....true? any other reccomended 'beginner mods'?

very nice motor. You said its a prodrive so it should already have an uprated fuel pump 255lb.

Very nice.
It's a 'Prodrive Style' not Prodrive Performance Pack [PPP] so it won't have the Uprated 255lph pump, which you don't need unless remapping. Unless it is a PPP. Does it have a certificate?
As for beginner mods, it all depends on what you want. Exhaust and remap are generally on the list which will see you from 265 [standard] or 305 [PPP] to 330-340.
The Prodrive Stle in that colour is actually quite rare.

Very nice... I wanted a Black Prodrive.. (Had an 05 STi in black and loved the colour)

I have bonded more with the 02 model as it happens... no DCCD to play with your mind.

I have heard there was only 100 Black Prodrives and one was written of very quickly!

how can you tell the difference? on the logbook and experian report i did it says 'sti prodrive'....
is the 305bhp quoted for the ppp at the wheels or fly? i ask because the last owner had it dyno'd last year and it kicked out 265@ the wheels which i believe equates to 300ish@ the fly....
help

V nice, DCCD iirc means driver controlled center diff. It means you can adjust the balance of power from the front to back wheels.
The prodrive 305bhp will be at the fly so if you've got a printout that equats to about that it seems likely it has the prodrive performance pack.
You can check the fuel pump easy enough, theres an oval shaped cover in the drivers side of the boot pop this off and lift the pump out and you'll see if its an 255lph one or not.

bob r..... is there something you can see in the pics which makes it look like a style? you sound pretty sure, that's all. i'm not questioning your judgement but i really haven't much of a clue any input would be welcome

Snap !

Best value mod on my car is a 22mm Whiteline adjustable rear ARB, kills the understeer and brings the chassis alive.... check you haven't got one with the Teins ( as I have ! )

dunx

P.S. HTAutos do a Prodrive front splitter for them now

I/C water spray is on all newage STI's, PPP or Prodrive style.

The Prodrive style has wrap around front fog covers, shaped side skirts and rear high level spoiler. Yours has all these so probably Prodrive Style however that doesn't mean yours won't have PPP aswell.
PPP will have Sports cat downpipe which can be seen bolted underneath the turbo and I think additional pipework around the intercooler.
Any under bonnet pics?
