Default Low & Wide.

Hi everyone im new to the forum some of you may know me from Hampshire Subaru, Here's all my pictures of my car so far from purchase up to present day, when i bought her she was completely standard.

I soon changed that though fitting a full decat 3" from turbo back, WRC Spoiler, 18x9 Rota Wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxies 225x40x18, BC Coilovers, Front Splitter, Rear Diffuser & Grille Badge Delete..

I then Changed my mind, i did love the all black stealth look but there's so many similar subaru's out there i wanted something a little different.

Re-Sprayed my wheels and wheel nuts, Removed the Rear Spoiler, Dry Carboned the Boot, Roof, Wing Mirrors and Door Pillars Also Dropped the car a **** load and added massive camber all round plus i pulled and rolled the fenders all round.

There you have it then, my pride and joy.
If anyone out there wants any info on wheel specs help on fitment etc don't hesitate to ask oh and you're criticism/praise is very welcome

Thanks for all your comments guys really appreciate it! its been hard work getting this far but i'm not done yet a few little tweaks on my fitment to get it spot on and then its time to hit the interior and finally performance when i've got deep enough pockets lol, there's some real nice cars on here!

lol its not as low as it used to be, but i went through front splitter repairs daily so its been raised up a tad and splitter removed, its just been lowered on BC coilovers the arches have been rolled/pulled using a heat gun and a trolley jack handle, (lowered the car onto the handle between the tyre and the arch and heated the arch with the heat gun then pushed the car back and forth to get the desired flare/wheel clearance) lol its risky and ghetto but it turned out ok
Also most of my arch liner has been cut away and excessive cambers in place to eradicate rubbing.

That might have been "inthoughtwelive's" car you saw featured, his is very similar, however he has even wider wheels and a lower stance wouldn't want to get mixed up now

It looks daft!

why so low, must handle like 5hite....it looked a lot better before, and 225's look a tad too stretched, if its a show car then i suppose it serves a purpose but from a functional point of view....its silly.

Sorry its not in tone with all the other comments but it looks like somehting off pimp my ride...

Like i said criticism is welcome if by functional you mean trackable then no it probably wouldn't do very well nor is it a show car, its just my daily driver and the purpose it serves is that of putting a smile on my face when i see people giving it confused looks

Handles like crap cruising along on a straight bumpy road yes, but hard in the corners with the extra wide grip and camber it never lets go so its a mixed bag really,

The 225's are stretched a wee bit but if i ran wider tyres the wheels would rub like mad so its a compromise, little bit hurt by the pimp my ride remark not sure they have quite as much attention to detail but i understand its not to everyones taste, partly the reason i love my car so much

You do feel the tracks in the road on a straight but tbh i wouldn't say i've had to slow down and consider my wheel setup before i give it some.

As you say cornering is fine and once you get past the odd bit of rubbing it's fine.
