The function of this BBS and more specifically this thread (as I see it!!) is to enable people to ‘indulge’ their interest in the cars they own. If I’m guilty of having enjoyed my 22B then so be it.
If that amounts to me indulging in ‘Self-aggrandisement’ as you put it - then I’m guilty as accused. Owning a 22B is something I came to terms with three and a half years ago when I bought it. I certainly don’t need to massage my ego after all this time.
Why do you think that owning a 22B Impreza is so flash?
From the moment the car was released, it was an over hyped, over priced performance car which didn’t live up to expectations. Why do you think so many owners spend so much money boosting it’s performance. Despite all it’s flaws, I totally love the car. That’s something I refuse to apologise for.
What’s less clear is why you periodically immerge from the depths to ‘Self Flagellate’ so publicly, and it has to be said - make a ***** out of yourself!

It’s nearly twelve months since your last outburst (venting in my personal direction) graced Scoobynet. Don’t you think it’s time you grew up.

Jealousy is a very ugly thing, particularly when it consumes you.
Don’t state that you’re not because ‘clearly’ you are.
In relation to your claim that I endangered your family, that was covered in great detail 12 months ago and we agree to disagree!
When you last posted you were driving an Impreza if I’m not mistaken.
So what makes the Evo7 any more of a ***** extension than the car ‘you’ drive?
Or a Big Motor Bike for that matter. Sorry, I can’t remember what make yours is.

The reason you haven’t seen me out on the R6 is because (now I’m only telling you this because you’ve asked ya hear, don’t want you claiming that I’m indulging in ‘Self-aggrandisement’ again!) it’s now strangely morphed into an SP2. I keep it at work. Don’t get to ride as often as I would like.
I guess that when I’m around you & yer friends are up the Cat acting all macho, cutting up families out for a nice peaceful drive in there 4x4’s in the country. Stones and glass houses spring to mind.
If you are going to rant and rave as per last year, I suggest you start a new thread - in the Muppet Forum, and not highjack someone else’s to beat your green chest. Alternatively, to spare the BBS regulars your green tinged outbursts, E-mail me @ PaulG@thestudio.co.uk.
Oh, nearly forgot. The wife did try a new Jeep Cherokee in between the Evo’s.
She hated it. Hated the way it handled, hated the drive. Looked great though!!
The Evo was her choice!
Do you still have your Discovery?
One last thing. If she’s been giving you the eye, get stuck in lad. But before you make a fool of yourself again, are you sure it wasn’t ‘you’ staring at her in that horrible ***** Extension.

Not too many people seem to change their standard wheels on the 22b. Personally I like the standard wheels, but would like to see pictures of different wheels on the car. Who can help ?

Note how he just says "I've got a 22B" and then asks how to post a picture of it. Note also how he hasn't bothered to post one himself - the job is done because we now all know PAUL HAS A 22B. If he'd been at all modest he'd have said "here's the pic of one - it happens to be mine".
