I used to hoover the one in my VW, doesn't take long to get clogged.

it was an option so not every car has one. but they should know where it goes obviously!

if you can hang on a few days get one from here Subaru Impreza 2001 on Pollen Cabin Filter i think the subaru one is about £30? good saving

Myself and Andy Lyman fitted one of these as its an upgrade version compared to the OEM one at some ridiculous price. Very easy job to exchange, mine had been in for 6 years and looked like the one in the photo above.

I've seen worse - the worst being one that had a mouse nest in it!

Actually of the ones I used to see when I serviced customer's cars (going back over 12 years now ) were often worse than that and in some cases they were just taken out and left without a filter, as the customer was too tight to pay for a new filter
