Default show us your aggressive classic

ok now i see plenty of threads out there with visuals of newage'd motors with very sexy aggressive looks (good work lads). But what about the classics?

So I stand proud and ask show us your classic

Haha don't think there is one on here. Yet!

Even after spending a lot of time on US sites from what i've seen they are pretty rare. Hyphymoment is the OG of the aggressive classic and was a great example. He has since sold and got a newage

Love Banny's car

I trawled NASIOC for aggressive classics and must admit I was a bit disappointed tbh. It's mainly newages, which they do very well though.

None of these are aggressive really except hyphys.

I'll be running 17x9 et42 on my Classic Wagon, it will be ready within the next month or two.

I was planning on running 18x9.5 et35 but I dont really like 18s on an aggressive classic, so changed my mind.

Damn seeing hyphys gc has made me want white instead of bronze

I'll get pics up when I get my rims fitted up

Plan with mine is to keep the standard wheels but run some serious spacers to get the wheels flush and then a little drop in height

Er, different. Quite like it though. Never seen that spoiler before. Not a fan of the side skirts. I always think square skirts on a rounded car look a little odd. Love the wheels though. Best colour for a scoob too

The aggressive look is defined as wide wheels in line with the arches and tonnes of neg camber iirc.

Have a look at this thread Church of the Sooper Aggressive Scooby Wheel Setup - NASIOC

None of those are aggressive. This is where things will change over here. If you know the aggressive thing you'll understand what it's about. It's not going out and running big spacers.

You need stance and a decent set of rims. A decent offset helps too.

If i had to describe aggressive to those unsure this would be the ultimate

I don't need to explain and it's difficult it's just what you know. My advice is research it i have seen my setup done right on a lot of cars so i know it works.

Don't jump on the band wagon and go and fit any old wide wheel. aggressive, flush what ever you wanna call it is pretty much explained in those pics. They are flush/aggressive

The whole aggressive movement isn't about performance etc. I am fully aware my driving will have to be toned down now i have the wheels on. That i'm happy with. It's a personal choice for those who want to be different.

Ok here's a question. Did HT auto's get a load of stick when they produced the rear diffuser? Did you get an abundance of people saying they look crap? Also did anyone ask the question "how will it benefit airflow" all of the above probably not.

I understand a lot of people won't be educated on this new trend. Maybe a topic should be started to explain what it is all about. It will inevitably end up like NASIOC with an us versus them situation. That's fine and people are entitled to an opinion but maybe when those people post new pics lay off the posts saying they look crap

Those pics aren't necessarily agressive as they're stretched rubber which is something different
