Wink Fresh Paint On Mine.

And a couple of changes......

From this....

To this....

As some of you may know I had some slight damage to the drivers door recently and now all is 100% once more, plus I wanted the front bumper repainted so it was ideal to have it all done at the same time. I also took the decision to loose the washer jets and I had some oem fog covers to go on.... this time I think I shall remain stickerless on the covers since the finish that I was looking for is on them as the old one's where copies.

How's that I'm happy

Looks like a nice job well done. Your driverside sidelight needs some adjustment though, it's not quite level at the bottom, top corner.

Merv you broke the mould completely

Black car = black bumper and not a complete white car on collection

Those side lights will be finding the bin very soon, over a period of time they seem to have simply fallen apart and it is a wonder they are still there as I expect the passenger one to fall out all the time.
Next on the list will be a pair of new one's trust me

Cheers guy's it's come up a treat even if I do say so myself, those washer jets have annoyed me for a long time now so decided once and for all to dump them.

Fitted the radio surround tonight so the next step is some sounds then I can do the rest of the centre consol

Cheers Mags you been on nasioc to much I think

I've given up covering the plate it's on everyone elses pics... I am one of a few wrc plates lurking about here these days I'm not sure who the rest are

Darc the front end was looking really rough before... splitter ill fitted plus washer jets were loose and sprayed around the last time so this was in desperate need this time to do it properly. Must concentrate now to leave some room infront but it's not easy when convoy driving !

The door had a dent in the front in line under the mirror so it was blended back plus blended forward into the wing, then laquered fully over... it's a very good job and matches well.

Just used a local guy for this, one of my mates put me onto him.
The door was a seperate bill but for the bumper it worded out to £160 baring in mind I had the washer jet holes filled and there were a few other items as well... interior trim parts etc.

Project thread that would take some time, looking back maybe I should have started one 4 years ago if I had known where the journey was going to take me.... I may have a look when I have time and put one together from day one perhaps.

Cheers guys
