My 'new' Scoob
So after the death of my red MY00 classic (cat b write off) thanks to a blind bint I got myself this '05 type UK STi PPP last week. It's in really good mechanical condition, but the interior n paint needed some attention. So spent 5 hours on it today in the baking sun. Pics;
Interior shots, standard, nothing to see here, move along,
Gotta have a couple of Pshops
Mods:
PPP
Scorpion backbox
19" Milia Miglia? wheels (not sure about these, they might grow on me)
Plans? None for now as I'm 6K out of pocket

Thx guys. I haven't protected it yet, just corrected the scratches/swirls, starting with scratchx and finishing with Menzerna Intensive Polish using a CCS light cut pad. But I will use Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish and Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection, tomorrow to seal it. Poorboys wheel sealant, and Poorboys natural dressing for all of the interior.

I thought they were the standard wheels that you'd made larger in Photoshop!
Sorry to hear about the classic, it looked a nice one that.

looking good mate, still not 100% keen on those wheels though, maybe that's what's making it look a little high?
that's a great colour in the sun aswell really nice.
it all went ok with the payment then?

Looks a nice motor, in a nice colour - not to keen on the wheels too though sorry dude! But as you say they may 'growers' How does it compare to you're classic? That was a peach, sorry to hear about it

Classic with Tek3 270bhp did feel quicker, compared to the STi PPP with 300bhp, but STi is a fair bit heavier and the gearing is completely different with the 6speed box. It's such a nicer drive though, so much smoother and refined and the handling is far superior.

it's a bit of an odd one with alloys, i always thought mine on OE springs with the 17's had massive arch clearance, but it looked fairly low. now with the Prodrive springs the arch gaps are tighter but i don't think it looks much lower than before maybe it just looks 'right' now , so nothing takes your eye as looking out of place? not sure really, it does look better though!
it is a totally different beastie to a classic isn't it?
