After having it sat around in the garage for about 2-years I have finally fitted my power-xs intercooler onto my Bugeye. The finish was far from great when I bought it, but it only actually set me back about £60 after I imported it from the US when the exchange rate was good. Since then, I have polished all of the welds off the top and side of the intercooler, adapted the brackets so I can use the original mounts and made up spacers so it doesn't knock on the wastegate hose when it is fitted. I've also had to realign the fins on my kakumei intercooler scoop to stop them knocking, but still - only an hours work
So, before...

During, I had to modify the turbo y-hose for the larger intercooler. If I hadn't needed to buy the ali extension it would have been fitted 2-weeks ago

And after...

When I took it for a spin it generally seemed to pull better, and the inlet temperature was 22 degreesin the midday heat with a bit of spirited driving. I didn't think to compare the temps before, but I recall seeing 21 degrees on cooler wintery day.
I have a GFB hybrid dump valve to fit next, although the induction kit has increased the aural pleasure as you can here the turbo spin up on throttle and the factory recirc dump when you come off throttle

Oil pressure sender for the oil pressure gauge attached to an LMA t-piece. It lets you run the factory switch so the lower pressure light still works and also connect the sender for your gauge

Interesting, I thought it was something to do with that because of the size of the sender. Looking good.
