Default 3 days of cleaning and fitting new parts finally over!! Lots of pics for you all.

Gave the car a really good clean last weekend and today ready for Performance Car Action Day at Castle Combe on Saturday.

Fitted my SPEC-R alloy covers as the weather has picked up again including turbo heatshield which I think is only the second one in existance

Thanks to Pete at SPEC-R for his work repolishing the covers, they are really well made and finish the engine bay off a treat.

I think the new wheels and carbon bits really suit the car.

Close up of the SPEC-R heatshield.

Thanks Jonny. Got it from Graham Goode Motorsport. They have a shop on ebay with them usually in stock so you don't have to wait for them.

grizz237 it's a SX fuel pressure regulator with gauge. I bought it second hand for £100

bioforger it's on GAB adjustable dampers and HKS 50mm lowering springs.

RB5boyo yeah I've got a road angel classic and its the laser detector stuck to the windscreen. The heatshields are available to buy just contact Pete at Spec-R

I'll be at PCAD at Castle Combe on sat if you want to look around the car and see the heatshield for yourself.

Thanks for all the comments guys

Cheers Jay thought you'd be a bit surprised! Same exhaust as before, Magnex turbo back decat system with 6x4 tailpipe. You'll be lucky, the only time they'll be off is when I'm fitting your AP's lol!!

Ha ha not quite that small, it's 12" x 3". Had it on the car for just over 18 months now with no problems (touch wood)

The Spec-r really does brighen up and finish off the engine bay g7prs I can't recommend it enough

There's a few more bits in the pipeline that I'm pestering Pete about as well

Cheers mate, looks just right size wise. Is it stuck on with the double sided pads you get supplied with the plate? Just wondering if they were man enough

I didn't get any pads when I bought it but a mate works for the local Scania dealer and he got me some I just used three and they hold it easily, done the same on the back with the standard sized plate.

The plate is just smaller than the plastic mount that is in the front bumper so is never forced off in any direction by the wind (if you get what I mean )...............well at least not up to 140

Gotta be the way forward

Mine's plain just the letters with no slogan or border, not sure if it effects the letter height
