Finally sorted my photobucket out so can show my pride and joy!
Bought this the 11th of Feburary and havent stopped grinning since ive owned it.. Pulls like a train and feels amazing.. even when your not giving it any and just crusing the burble and the fact you know youve got the power is exciting!
Anyway here are the picies.. more to come along with a full write up on the gearbox removal with pics and 2.2 build
lots in the pipeline

Wow!! Not many Type R's in black, thats fantastic looking
Get it machine polished, de-tango the front indicators/wedges on front bumper and it will be perfect
Oh and stickers on the foglight covers will finish it off nicely too

Get yourself a crystal pack like this for the front end of the car:
Lighting - Impreza 1993-2000 : Subaru Impreza Crystal Lighting Package
And just paint the small orange wedges in the front bumper black. Job done

Nice looking type R. Like everyone else is saying, de-tango the front and move the fogger.
Also you might want to put a little air in your front passenger side tyre. It looks a little flat ,only looks flat on the bottom though. ha ha

very nice, and the wheels are spot on. what colour are they?
i'm after getting some matt black ultraleggerra, but the place selling is pushing for the matt graphite as he says they're very dark.
black is the car so i think black rims would set it off sweetly

No not hammerite. Take them off, rub them down and give them a lick of primer. I just used halfrauds rattle can black.
I cut the inards out of the one on the drivers side as I use that as a cold air food up to the induction kit. No one ever notices until you point it out either.
