Default New TMIC Fitted :D (updated with pics)

Got my Newage TMIC fitted today Much better, The thing is massive compaired to my STI v5 one,

I have had to lose my STI Strut as it will not fit over it now, not the end of the world though as i would rather a good Intercooler then a Strut,

heres some quick pics i took on my Phone

i Dont like the look of the front mounts i prefer the Standard Look, thats why i went for the newage sti tmic,

plus the cutting of the bumper for fmic is pain in a**

darc

i like the Sleeper look haha

Where did you get that from mate, and how much? Because I'd prefer that to a FMIC too. Was it straightforward to fit, or did you have to mod some stuff?

I got Zak a MOCOM to fit it, it involves abit of modding to fit, need to make a bracket up for the right side and buy a STI bracket for the left side, also couple of little mods to the clutch fluid resivour and stuff.

MATT78 i'm selling a complete sti8 intercooler, made up brackets and under bonnet tray in the next couple of weeks. mine has all been modded to fit a facelift classic.



pm me if you may be interested going down the fmic myslef with my upgrades.

Im sure it can be, but you would have to have a search on here and find out how you go about it,

as i have seen people with Slanty type fit the V5 STI tmic

Don't think it will fit, the distance between the inlet manifold and the bulkhead is smaller on the pre-facelift cars AFAIK. Think it's a struggle to even get a V5/6 intercooler onto the early (93-96) classics.

I'd of gone for the fmic mate, the one in my classic is hugh but ya would't know it i kept the spot lights and strutbrace thanks to derek at southwest customz my hks fmic on my 04 blobeye ya wouldn't know it was there thanks to japgarage.

i like the look of the TMIC when you open the engine bay, the FMIC are nice but the engine bay looks lost without the TMIC
