Newage seats are nice, but i think you sit higher aswell when fitted in a Classic AND there,s not so much of that hugging feeling with them either imo.....

I adapted the standard rails, as the corbeau's are base mount, not side, it was easy enough. Just made some adaptor plates using steel plate. This way the standard seatbelt mount is retained.

They are nice!
They look wider than the ones i have, so might be worth measuring the subaru base to the corbeau base. I can get you the subaru measurement, give me a minute......

The standard subaru seat mounting holes, with rails removed are 435mm across, 355mm front to back.

They are sparco prodrive seats. I got mines from ebay. There have been a couple of sets sold on here over the last few months.

Their OK, not as good as the subaru stuff, but as you say, that's not the idea. They sit lower in the car, which i like, really hold you in. I've driven in them for 2.5 hours max at any one time, with no problems. I imagine the ones you're looking at will be better, being adjustable.

Anyone got any pics of how side mounts bolt to the floor.
Does the cross-member/raised part of the floor where the front of the OE rail mounts get in the way ??

Cheers for that Mit, i may get the ones like yours, i do like them alot, it,ll be yours, or the ones in the link.

I never really travel BIG distances in the car anyway so comfort isn,t a real issue.

In hinde site, red's not the best colour to keep clean, also the sides get worn quickly, getting in and out, so i fitted a cover.

Sorry, bought them off eBay with modified rails already fitted. They're the original Subaru rails with some steel supports bolted across them. Seats are still lower than standard.

Being used in the wife's race car.
