unfortunately not, just went for the one angle. Will take some in the future when get the time...this was taken in very low light around 5pm yesterday. Windy too on the tops of Crag Vale. Tripod and a remote shutter release helped a lot!

I get to Crag Vale going Mythomroyd as its right near where I work. Crag Vale is the longest gradual uphill climb in the whole of the UK. Great driving road but plenty of bumps and undulations and quite unforgiving if you mess up at speed, but the views are ace.

Best time to shoot is just before sunset or sunrise. That way the lighting is soft and you dont get unwanted glare, relfections or shadows as you do when the sun is high in the sky.

I shot at 5pm which was too dark tbh, but as I was doing a HDR style shoot I got away with it.

Its called HDR - High Dynamic Range. Do you have a digital camera which you can change the exposure on? so you can you take a normal shot, an overexposed shot (too bright) and an underexposed shot (too dark). If so you can get this type of image.

Make sure you do the following:

1) Take the three shots from the exact same vantage point, don't move camera in between shots and use a tripod to avoid any camera shack.

2) Download free software Photomatix, this allows you to create the HDR image composite.

3) Then use the same software to tone map the image (just follow the instructions).

4) Use photoshop to tweak your image - desaturate, add a colour overlay, tint the image, colour balance, border, vigenette etc etc.

5) Post your results would be great to see
