...hey....I know that place...the silver one has been parked in that spot once...
The fugly with the WRC spoiler is stunning (for a fugly) - the spoiler is so ugly it sorta evens out the fuglyness and makes for a lurvly mota.

No worries Joseph - pleased to help mate.

Scott (UK300 with prodrive lights in the pic) - you need a skirt on the car, get rid of the that prodrive front lip thing and put a proper kit on!

Alex

Edited to clarify which car I meant, the UK300, not the STi VII

Alex,
From the pic's I tend to agree the black add on on the Prodrve STI7 is tacky and seriously requires lowering.
Still 5 weeks to go before mine arrives So is there a remedy DrEvil

No you're right! Tacky black add on's? Yeah thanks then. They do need lowering though.

Opps,
I didn't think lager effected my judgementSorry to offend 300 owner's about the black lip spoiler(it must be british) . When I when to Listers to buy my STI7 ( five weeks till delivery) the UK 300 had the P1 type painted lip spoiler and the Prodrive STI7 had the Black one
The left one in the pic is a Euro STI7 the UK STI7 comes with the Black lip spoilerand no rear wash/wipe. A big missing on the Uk version IMHO. Also not being elitist UK vs Imports either. Must think and look harder before opening my keyboard

Unhappy

Does anyone on hear know what they are talking about

Looking from the head-on pictures:
The left one is a Jap STI7
The right one a UK300

Both cars are lowered:
STI7(the one on the left) is on jap-spec Eibachs
UK300 is on Prodrive Eibachs

Tacky add-ons, that would be the STI7 then, with farty Halfords rear diffuser

BTW, i test drove a UKSTI7 Prodrive today with 1100 miles on the clock. Performance wise, Pah nothing upto 4000rpm then the big turbo comes in with a bang. Seems quite fast above 4000 but then does'nt any impreza at those revs.

My car is much more driveable and would eat the STI alive, and i still think it would with a full-decat STI (please note that i am talking straight line perfomance here)

Matt

Considering it is a WRX, i don't think i've done too bad by changing just the grille and spoiler

Scott,
Yes looks very nice And you were right I was wrong I didn't know my **** from me Elbow
I've seen 1 UK300 been in a 1 STI7 as back seat passenger (blade) and took the Prodrive version for a test drive. So I'am not an anorak
I still can't understand why UK/EURO STI7 (hedging my bets here just in case I've got it wrong again) come with everything colour coded except the lip spoiler. Or why the don't put rear wiper on
I've ordered the STI7 Prodrive version and first job is to lower it by a yard

Scott mate love the car I've heard about your car but never seen it, looks lovely. I was thinking of doing something similar with my UK300. I was going to get that front grill because I really think it finshes the front off well. Lowering the car does this affect the warrenty? If not then that would be good. And I'm beginning to think I might change the spoiler to the UK STI, I do like yours but I prefer it to be a bit more subtle. How did you get the power up to 280bhp? I won't be modding the engine because I'm happy the way it is (I had a mini before). I'll probably upgrade in a few years to an STI when my finance runs out. Haveing the two next to each other I have to say I still prefer the UK300 lights but that front spoiler on the STI is very nice. How long did it take to get your wheels that shiny

Hmmmmmm.....that place in the top pics looks familiar, every time my other half goes there in the scoob for something he comes back with somethings and a much smaller bank balance, still it all seems to make the car go quicker

Nice pair btw

Just to clarify my comment, I meant my UK300 needs lowering (all standard ones do IMO), not the one in the pics (which I have to say I like muchly). I do know what I'm talking about honest (cough). As far as I'm aware Prodrive Eibachs do not invalidate warrenty.

Scott, which of the various "shops" did you get the STi covers from? Also have you thought of changing the black lip spoiler (I think thats next for me), It should have been blue too..
