I have seen several front grilles including the Subaru sports grille, and the DR motorsport one, but has anyone bought and fitted the new Prorive WRsport upper and lower mesh grille for the MY01.

There is a small pic in the 2002 accessories catalog, but has anyone got a pic of this fitted?

The part nos are SACC2543U ans SACC2543L and they cost £250 and £199 respectively I am told.

Mark

I agree the prices are ridiculous, but I am fortunate to have a source at IM who got me them at a "considerably" cheaper staff price

Boultsy,
They look good, have you made them yourself?

UK300,
Thanks, I have been told that mine will be 2/3 weeks as well.

Yep fitted the bottom grill this weekend but only a temp. job.
Bought a sheet of Ali Grill this weekend and replaced the top again, as first attempt started to rust even though I lacquered it, this was expected though as the steel Grill wasn't galvanised.

So the top should be permanent now, but can see me re-working the bottom one with some of the Ali sheet, all in the name of developement ya know, practice makes perfect Once I get something I'm happy with I'll post some more pics.

Mark, I looked at these but went for the WR Grill and Gills instead, car looks much better from the front now. Have a look at Tom Butlers car http://www.rumbottle.co.uk mine looks the same. I'll be interested to see pics of your car once they're fitted.
Sean.

Not sure if it is sold seperately, the whole lot came as a kit from Subaru, £565+VAT+Fitting (bargain? cough). Mine fits a lot more snug than Toms. Maybe worth giving their parts people a call?

Try e-mailing David McCarthy at simpsonscars@lineone.net (Swindon Subaru dealer) or phoning him on 01793 762234.

Cheers, Sean

Sean,
I already have the Gills, so mine will be a combination of both. I will post some pics up when it is done but Ive got a 2/3 week wait as they havent even got any at IM central parts yet.

I got the list price wrong as well, they are £199 and £149 respectively.

I got them at a 'good' discount, but it was a 'one-off' favour through someone who knows someone etc etc so Im afraid I cant get any for anyone else for those of you who have mailed me, though I would if I could.

Also got the Prodrive spring kit as well which will be fitted shortly (even though I had some good advice not to do this!)

I never thought to ask about the guages. Doh!
