problem is with tien's is that when there on i think the wheels get lost in the arches, at least with the prodrives or eibachs you still get the subaru "look"

You still not made your mind up? Go for the Teins, ride quality great, handling great, looks great, what more can you ask for?

thanks me old fruit

I've spent the past week wearing a hole in my head from the constant scratching and wondering

think I'll be going with the teins, just convinicing a mate that getting him ti help take my car apart is a good idea lol

the only issue I can see from doing it myself is not having any spring compressors, is there something else I can use?

Spring compressors won't break the bank and are handy to have kicking around for the future. I got mine for £20. I suppose you could use some soft wire and twist it tight but the proper tool makes the job 100 times easier.

You could try Halfords or Autosave if you have them nearby, I would imagine any of these places would have them. You could also try ebay. Mine are Draper ones and do the job just fine.

I am waiting to order an Anti Lift Kit to put on first then I will go for the geo setup, hopefully in a couple of weeks. Wheels don't look too bad at the moment, I also have some camber adjusting bolts to go on too so will get it all done at the same time. Hopefully see and feel a nice improvement after.

do you need different camber bolts to adjust the camber or can you use the standard ones?

The standard bolts on the rear are not adjustable, so if you want to adjust them you will need new ones. One bolt per side, the top one. The front camber as standard is adjustable so not needed. I got two sets, one set for the rear and a new set for the front so all adjustments would match. Not sure if this is really important but thought it was a good idea. Aparently you can put two adjusting bolts on each strut and get double the adjustment but I just when for the one.

I have said it loads of times before........Tein S Tech.

Really make the car sit as it should do and handling feels so much sharper.

Result! One down, one to go!

Iain, spring compressors: Laser Coil Spring Compressor (2779) on eBay, also, Hand Tools, Garage Equipment Tools, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 08-Nov-08 14:49:09 GMT)

These are identicle to mine and work really well. They have a good hook to hold the spring.
