Default 1994 Impreza Facelift - Done!

Hey guys,

I posted a message on here last week with the bits all bolted on to my Impreza (can't find my original post)

It's just come back from the paint shop, so I thought I'd post the results (I know some of you will prefer the pre-facelift, but i don't care! :P)

Before

Halfway!

After

Cheers! A few people have expressed their dislike for the STi8 scoop, but I like it, just my opinion. I'll probably get bored and change it one day! ha

Where did you source all the parts from in the end? Did it take long...?

OK here we go, wish I hadn't added this up now!

Face Lift Bonnet - £115 (Awesome Imports via eBay)
STi8 Scoops & Mini Vents - £178 (HT Autos)
Face Lift Front Bumper - £129.30 (Simpsons Subaru, Swindon)
Front Bumper Grilles (Left) - £19.20 (Simpsons Subaru, Swindon)
Front Bumper Grilles (Right) - £18.85 (Simpsons Subaru, Swindon)
P1 Polyurethane Splitter - £115 (HT Autos)
Fog Light Covers - £47 (HT Autos)
Face Lift Crystal Headlights (Pair) - £99.99 (scoobyparts.co.uk)
Crystal Sidelights - £32.95 (scoobyparts.co.uk)
Facelift Grille - £60.00 (scoobyparts.co.uk)
Front Blue Subaru Badge - £10 (scoobyparts.co.uk)
Clear Front Indicators - £25 (eBay user)

Preperation & spraying of bonnet, bumper, splitter, grille, scoops, handles and side/rear skirts to match existing paintwork of car - £599.96

Total = £1,510.15 (All prices include vat & delivery)

Alot of money, but I think it was worth it considering most things under the bonnet have already been tweaked! probably worth almost as much as the car, but I'm not in a hurry to sell it ever!

Any questions, ask!

Cheers!
Michael

Sorry to be pessimistic, or something like that; but, from your "view my scooby":

Approx 300bhp with Switchable boost ecu 12 psi/16.5 psi (with aviation style switch)
Stainless steel group A down pipe with Ninja Back

What else have you done under the bonnet?

It's a whole lot of money that you've spent, looks nice. Like other's though, I don't like the big scoop.

Steviem: Very funny mate, you must have been very bored!

Micky: Fuel Injectors, Pump, Full De-cat, Mapped. All done by the previous owner so dont know the details to be honest, I do have a read out though!

Mit: 300 is the magic number, haha! notice how I put Aprox 300, not 290, that doesn't really sound magical! haha.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Cheers

290's a good figure! They say that it's the same as a newage with 320 cos of the extra weight.

Really!? well I never knew that! I'm sure a new age has some better electronic aids to keep it on the road which I sometime wish I had, but then I think, where's the fun in that!?

So you are looking to get a pre-painted bumper for yours?

Yeah,i've managed to save some money getting a white alloy bonnet for £150,just need some vents which are in the post to fit it. Really wanted an alloy one the standard one i have is alloy.
The bumper will add that finnishing touch,as yours, again im in no rush so looking out for a white one. I've also got some sti rear lights with the red/clear lense in the post too, must stop spending money on my car!!!!

Ha, stop spending!? don't be silly, do you have anything better to spend your money on?

Must admit, I am gutted that my MOT and Tax is due this month

Try scoobybits.co.uk for the bumper, they may have one your colour.

Cool

nice motor mate, i like the STi8 scoop, omly because mine has one....i just need to start spending some money on mine...at the moment she gets used as a runabout...!

(away too much to drive, hence runabout..)

I must admit though, the scoop looks different on different coloured cars, have a look at mine on 'View my scooby'

good work dude, i want the face lift now...!
