That's quite a nice job! Gets your hands black doesn't it!? Oh, don't expect that flexi joint to last, had one on my last car, lasted 3 months!!

Doesn't get your hands black if you wear gloves

I am a bit worried about the flexi joint but if it goes, I'll just get it cut out and sleeved over.

The wrappings not a job I'd like to do twice so I thought I'd do a good job lol

Looks neat.

Why get headers with a flexi pipe if they are prone to going?

I couldn't believe how much wrap it uses!
I must admit the set i had go were very cheap Megan ones, they had no slip joints to allow them to expand when hot,and cracked just about every place they could! Ended up getting the Kakumie ones, awsome quality! This is one of my next on the list of purchases for my RA.

Cos it's an easy fix when they do go.
These are only cheap ones but the welding is first class.

Hi!
Nice job. Is this something anyone can do and how long did it take.

Anyone can do it.
Just wear gloves, long sleeves and a mask. I didn't wear a mask and I'm paying for it now.
Took me about 1.5-2 hours.
But I didn't rush the job.

The easiest way to do it is to clamp a flange down to a bench with the bit your wrapping over the edge of the bench.

Made it easy to get the wrapping dead tight.
