my first scooby!!!!project
bought this about 3 years ago with accident damage, not realising how bad it was til i got her home
but i set out to it and sourced a facelift front end for her then realised it was more bent than i thought so got it off to the local car hospital for some therapy.
fantastic jig they have here at my local garage which set me back 500 quid to get her all straight
that hurt!!
so i got her back home and went to another local garage who lucky for me im very friendly with and asked to use there booth and oven which they where happy to let me use for free
also they have there own paint scheme so i was lucky to mix the paint myself
and decided to do the job myself
unfortunatley i do not have any of the pics of all the hard work as they where taken on my mobile over the next couple of weeks. but after many hours of sweat some pain and damn enthusiasm , a few runs in the paint and then a day or so flatting and poloishing it all came together and turned out like this
this wasn,t plain sailing as the wiring loom was shot to pieces and had a major problem with it but after a couple of weeks and very late nights it was sorted, ended up replacing ecu for one out of an RA which seemed to do the trick aswell.
so there it is my first scooby, ive had 2 more since this one and as some of you would of read, my sti i collected yestarday blew up so just waiting for the garage to sort that now

after a month i did paint the drivers side completely as it did look a bit off shade and even more so in pics and under those bloody street lights. passenger side had the full side done the first time, should of done it all in the first place but i do enjoy spraying, just picked it up over the years watching other people etc
