Default Show me your Blobeye front splitters/lips..

Sorry if this has been raised before but I'd love to see some pics of the above on blobs....

Thinking of buying one from HT Auto's or Scott Lowe.

Post away!!

HT Autos fitted to my old STi. Good fit and quality, especially with it being so flexible(parked on a kerb and bent it back on itself, no damage tho')-

Mine's a Scott Lowe one mate although it's now customised with a crack underneath since driving into the gas bottle
If I was buying again my money would go to HT Auto's (plus aren't they cheaper?)

HT Autos Splitter. A little tip though, after say 4months it has bent a little due to the wind force against it, its soon sorted by fixing the under corners with a self-tapper at each end, 2 more minutes work for you that all.

When mine was up in the air on the hoist being serviced last week I noticed a few gaps so I'm going to fit some extra bolts in. On the WRX you have more holes in the original lower bumper than the splitter has got. A few minutes later I now have additional holes drilled and now waiting for some new stainless steel nuts & bolts to arrive, then it will have 13 bolts holding it firmly in place, got 6 or 7 at present.

Andy.

Is it easier to jack the car up or can it be fitted on the deck?

Probably best to jack it up to allow more room. A piece of cake if you can put front in the air on a ramp, I'm trying to find somewhere local where I can drive car to have nose over something like a loading ramp to get easy access.

It's easy to do it on the ground if suspension is standard but if you opt for self tappers as an additional measure, you will need to jack it up enough to get a drill in!

I think its best left matt black, some tyre gel brings it up a treat!. If its colour coded it more likely to get the brunt from the low flying stones, and will soon look a little worse for wear.

the only thing that bugged me about the HT autos splitter was the lack of proper brackets. i'll be honest it didn't make a blind bit of difference when fitted, but bolting through fibre glass you know it's gonna be wrecked if you have a knock

still looked good though, another vote for colour coding
