I got them off a member on here, but think they are about £140 for the pair from Subaru, only mod is to cut the mounting lugs off them with the clips on then cut 3 slots in the bumper groove so they clip in, then they just bolt on took me less than an hour to fit them and think it was worth it, just takes a bit of courage to start cutting the bumper

Well worth itmate they look good, they make the front end look much more brutal in a rear view mirror! I've had some on mine for a while now. My girlfriend, self proclaimed "car hater" even said mine looked much more 'sporty'

You don't need to cut holes in the bumper. I fitted the winglets on my car over a year ago & they are fine without cutting holes.

they fit straight onto a wrx, no need for drilling or cutting anything

i thought you had to cut 2 or 3 slots across the bumper to slot the tabs on the winglets in or did you cut the tabs off the winglets and just stick them on.

Im intersted as i want to fit these but not too keen on cutting the bumper.

don't worry about cutting the bumper it is easy to do, I had no problems at all, but detangoing the lights is a different matter I don't think I have the confidence to put the lights in the oven and would be worried about not sealing them fully afterwards.

heres the guide I used, I just chose to leave all three clips on and put 3 slots on each side of the bumper, the only difference is I used a dremmel to clean up the drilled holes.

Mods

and thanks for all the positive comments,

I cut off the tabs along the tops of the winglets then I drilled out the plastic grommets that hold on the plate that the white circular clips go onto. That way you get a flush fit with the bumper.

Also, you don't need to put your headlights in the oven - just use a hair dryer to soften the sealant round the lens and SLOWLY prize them off the back of the headlight. Don't forget the extra screw at the back of the headlight, hidden underneath the small bit of foam.

I've had my headlights done for about 2 years now & no water has got in.

oobster, the winglets, did you have to glue the top and round the front then to stop it sticking out or do they just stay in place with the screws underneath.
cheers

They just stayed in place with the screws underneath mate. Must say I was surprised that they did though, I thought they would stick out on the front curve.

I cut 3 slots in mine with a stanley knife.Lined up the winglet so i could see where the lugs lined up marked them with a pencil and cut 3 small slits in it.Absolute doddle to do and only took 10 mins each side for a proper OE fit.I hate glueing anything on let alone cutting things off,do it once properly and you will never have to worry IMO
