Totally agree - although I think to get the best look for the v7 you need the later STI grille - very similar to the zero sports item you have, but you can buy it painted from the dealer - £140 if I remember.

Never thought about changing the grill.

I'll have to look in to this!

Mine was a copy, made from ABS plastic, not fibre glass and only £50 on the worlds favourite auction site.

Not a perfect fit, but it's not a concours car

Costs for my conversion -

Lights £150 ebay
Ballasts £40 ebay (Nissan 350Z ones)
Wiring loom approx £20 for parts and then wired it all up myself (See here https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...ti-lights.html)

Add £50 for the grille and £20 for the paint for it.

lol - you guys got yours much cheaper. I couldn't source lights AT ALL when I wanted em so I bought them new. Cost me £300 to get them shipped over from Tokyo.

Wiring harness from George was £40 - don't know quite why yours was so much Wulsey - did you do the whole levelling harness? I couldn't be bothered!

I didn't buy the JDM HID versions - I bought the same version as the UK scoobs had fitted, which are just projectors, and then I fitted an HID conversion kit from a group buy on here - £89.

And the grille was £140 colour coded with badge from Subaru - JonMc - nice work with the grille - sadly I'm not adept at fibreglass
