That was my thinking. I know of a couple of people that have been done for front tints and had to peel them off at the side of the road before being allowed to continue.

I took my friend to get his Prelude tinted up recently and whilst there enquired about mine. They are already done (view my scooby) as it is JDM. I wanted to know if I could tint the fronts further.
Anyway turns out the rears are 77% and fronts 23%. Could have an extra 7% tint to still be legal, but this apparently equates to the consistency of sellotape! As an interesting aside the JDM tints are dyed glass and not film (which means that they equate to a higher percentage film tint - approx 85%, but do not let in as much light, i.e. appear darker inside), but the film tints on my friend's Lude look awesome. Would recommend to anyone!
