If you go light smoke on the front pass windows it will make it less obvious from a styling and getting pulled point of view.

not worth the risk imo, the feds are well aware that any tint other than OEM is greater than 30% so will pull you. Besides, just the B pillar back looks JDM but the whole car looks pimp my ride

That was my thinking. I know of a couple of people that have been done for front tints and had to peel them off at the side of the road before being allowed to continue.

I had my rear and passanger windows filmed in limo black for 6 months and it looked very chavy, i now have the front windows tinted in a light smoke and i think it looks alot better,

I took my friend to get his Prelude tinted up recently and whilst there enquired about mine. They are already done (view my scooby) as it is JDM. I wanted to know if I could tint the fronts further.

Anyway turns out the rears are 77% and fronts 23%. Could have an extra 7% tint to still be legal, but this apparently equates to the consistency of sellotape! As an interesting aside the JDM tints are dyed glass and not film (which means that they equate to a higher percentage film tint - approx 85%, but do not let in as much light, i.e. appear darker inside), but the film tints on my friend's Lude look awesome. Would recommend to anyone!

not sure how JDM style tints can be called chavy...especially when copared to 'Dealer Tints'
