anyone have a gearbox 4my 93 classic

 

got a pic of my gearbox is thats anyhelp? or has someone drop a clanger and posted in the wrong section?

 

i need 1 for mine mate its deaded

lol, was gonna post a pic of mine when it was rebuilt but didn't think that would be much use to you lol

 

na that would just rub it in a bit more lol

 

lol, yeah, know the feeling though, its from when i blew mine up on the isle of man in june

 

nic so far from home aswel come on then lts have a look at the car then mate

 

lol

this is it sat with busted box waiting for recovery



and the 5am pick up for the ferry



and the car after the new box (had a few other bits and bobs done at the same time)



and affor mentioned box, went with a straight cut ppg gearset in the end, this is it about two days before it went in the car

 

nice bit of stuff mate did you have the box shot blasted looks clean

think just cleaned/jetwashed, its not my old casing, was just one they had around, scooblyclinic built it for me, basicly chucked a straight cut ppg kit etc into a casing and away you go.

well bit more complicated than that but you get the idea lol

 

how much did that cost if u dont mind me asking

 

roughly 3 and a half k (had other work done at the same time)
