Default my pics from The Lakes

We (parents and I) when up in two cars for a 9 day hoilday/break in the wonderful Lake district. We stayed on a working farm between Outgate and Hawkshead for 3 nights (4 days), then we moved onto a Loverly Farm house at Underborrow, south of Kendal.

We had great weather for September. Drove on some loverly roads

Heres some pics....

I would just like to mention that I have been going to the Lakes every year since I was born - 23 years. Parents have been going since their hunnymoon. some 30 years. So it if save to say we know hour way around.

------------

Washed the car today and added this in respect...this is ALL that is need to show your respect to Colin McRae.

Default Great place to take a scoob

Looks really good, makes me want to throw a tent into the boot of my bugeye, mountain bike in the back seat and get away for a few days (don't think my wife and kids would be too happy, however). Keep thrashing over the passes.

There's a bit of a 'Yump' just by that tree where I managed to grind a bit off my gearbox (on an Ford XR4x4) a few years back.

Great Pics BTW makes me wanna be there, getting up those hills. The one to the right of this photo is quite a good climb/scramble.

Indeed it is my friend. Great road. Have done it many times. Whilst we where parked there (morning coffee stop ) the amount of drivers in the wrong gear, poodleing up the hill and almost stoping on the bends
