Dyno graphs for my MY98 with mods
#1
Hi there,
Thought you might like to look at / comment on these. They are dyno graphs for my UK MY98 wagon with the following mods:
- ITG filter
- Magnex decat centre with resonator
- Scoobysport back box
The run was done on 22nd Dec (freezing cold) at Power Engineering.
This graph is my car as outlined above:
showing 256BHP and 240lb/ft of torque.
They then put one of their ECUs in and ran again, I got 284BHP, forgot the torque figure. Mr Visa stayed in my pocket, but it's tempting (and I don't even have a decat downpipe).
This graph shows both runs, the lower lines being UK ECU, the higher lines being Power Engineering ECU...
I'm impressed
Simon.

Thats a lot of power for a car with no downpipe
Very good increase with their ECU though - how much is it and is it one they've newly developed as I thought there had been probs with one in the past?
Cheers
Neil

That's very impresssssive Simon!
I'll have to get mine on the Rolling Road one day. I would like to see what my MY97 is pulling in standard form.
P.s. Have you seen the latest piccies of my car on this forum?
P.s.s. I decided not to get the OZ Supperlegga's as I didn't want any further debt....
Cheers

Neil, I'm guessing it is this one.
Not sure about reliability etc, you'd be better asking someone like Stephen Done who is doing the Impreza digital dash project maybe, as I know he's plugged that into a lot of ECUs with Power Engineering.
BTW I run the car on a steady diet of Optimax with no additives.
All the best,
Simon.
