I debadged mine for a while, but had a change of heart. I think the back end is too big to be devoid of feature. You could try something a little different....

The WRX balances out the boot lid, if you remove it I think the lock becomes more noticeable.

Use fine fishing line or strong cotton to saw through the foam pad behind each letter, then rub/roll the remaining foam/adhesive away. Adhesive residue comes off cleanly with WD40 or white spirit. Give it a quick polish and wax/sealant and you'd never know they'd been there.

I bought my "I M P R E Z A" letters for £1.50 each at a local 'chavy' motor factors. You know the sort, Peco zorsts, Lexus lights etc

Bit of fishing wire or dental floss and some bug and tar remover, just be careful and take your time, and polish out any difference in colour if any.

I would debadge the lot. I just have the Subaru badge on mine, which I am thinking of also removing...

I did have STI and WRX badging on which I removed.

I have to say I do like the word IMPREZA across the boot. Nice.

NO ! An idea can be taken too far, and that's heading into chav territory IMHO.

Besides, I could get the letters for 9 quid locally
