Excellent - looks a tad nippy.

Wild guess - is that the Ribblehead Viaduct in the background?

Chris,

The top two pictures are on the Middleton In Teesdale to Alston road.

The third picture is at Scotgate Camp Site near Keswick (-10 Degrees C )

And the bottom pic you guessed correct - Ribble Head Viaduct taken from the Settle road.

Cheers,

Ian.

Horton-in-Rib. to Ribblehead is one of my FAV roads.

Used to go for a blast quite regularly in my (now ex) UK94. Now I can be found "testing" my Hillclimb Pug 205 prior to an event.

Top road

Sadly I lost the engine on my Pug 205 GTi Sprint car just before the "hump" (Jump) on the straight. Broke a cam belt at 7500RPM which did all kinda damage including shattering the bottom end somehow. I was there for hours with sand and cement making sure the 200yd oil slick wasn't gonna kill any one

Spent ages "pushing" traffic onto the other side of the road to prevent the slick being spread any further !

Went with one almight bang n then silence followed... The rear window misted up with an oil slick. We came to a VERY rapid halt from a good shake down test prior to an event... Doh ...

Nevertheless its STILL my fav road.
