How has that stood the test of time and not been molested with lots of aftermarket parts from Halforauds??

Stunning. I have two small grips, lose the exchaust for somthing subtle like a H&S Scoobysport back box and the other, the worn out matts.

Good to see a virtually unmolested example, don't see to many around now especially with original wheels/spoiler.
Remember seeing Mr Needell road test one of these on Top Gear many years ago and thinking "I'm gonna get one!"

This is sadly for sale now. Can't afford to keep one of the cars, and it looks like it has to be this one

Call me on 07971803222, I am in Stockton on Tees and looking for around £4700

Cheers

More details:

I'll have to check how many owners when I get home. The first registered owner was a jewellery company in birmingham and it had the reg 221 JON for a fair few years.

Its only done 75k and as far as I can remember there were plenty of stamps in the service book and loads of receipts.

Yes, the 555 number plate comes with the car.

It had the prodrive performance upgrade from subaru when it was 2 years old (receipts to prove) so it has 260bhp apparently.

It is tested till March 2008, taxed till october.

It has a GT Alarm/Immobiliser.

Bad points:
It has a few scratches on the passenger door and wing mirror which I would have sorted if I was to keep it. At some point in its life it was broken into and the mcrae plaque was taken. Not sure if this can be replaced, but its never really bothered me.

God I hate it when u sell a car and you get all the 'yeah I'll come and view it' calls then they don't show up!!!!!

Why do they say they r interested when they aren't, stop wasting my time!!!

Not long now and this will be on ebay for someone to buy and ruin with chrome rimz and a horrible bodykit, unless someone with taste buys it and keeps it how it should be?!?

Great car, don't take this the wrong way though, you're asking top money for a car that needs a new backbox, damage fixing and of course has the plaque missing. It is however nice to see one that hasn't been screwed up.

Good luck with the sale and I reckon you'll sell it no problem with more realistic pricing.

Its hardly 'damaged' with a few scratches and it doesn't 'need' a backbox.

As with most sales, the price is always negotiable. And I can factor in a cheap PX if the right thing comes along.

Thanks for the comments tho.

I must have misunderstood you about the scratches sorry if I caused any offence. Maybe put up some pictures of them so any prospective buyer can see how minor they are?

I do though think it needs the backbox changing to something more OEM to make the most of what's a great piece of Subaru history.

As I say good luck with the sale, I just hope it goes to an enthusiast.

At a glance that could be a 5ZIGEN USA official website back box especially if it is that loud, not many about
