Default My scooby replacement

Just picked this up the other day from Southend. Decided after selling the scoob i would buy the one other car i've always wanted to own and i can say it is the best car i've ever driven.

The scoob was good as it packed a lot of turbo punch- this however has torque thrown in too and its a little mad. Currently running about 300bhp i understand from previous owner with an exhaust that screams so loud it makes people think the german doodlebugs are back...

Few niggly bits....

Car didnt look like interior had ever seen a duster - sorted now.
Graphics down side have ****e loads of spelling mistakes so most of this will be going.

Tyres at back are 265s so this seems to keep the power in check. And to top it all off the car is cheaper to insure than my old scooby

Anyway even though these are on the wrong forum i thought i would share what peeled my *** out of a subaru. Managed to test acceleration of this against bike and this certainly had the biker missing gears as he tried to get away.

Totally different drive mate but they really are awesome. I'd recommend trying one out.

Its just a constant pull from the engine and i hate to say it but personally i like the scream of this more than my scoobs burble...

ok, ok dont go to far!!!! imho nothing will beat the burble of the subaru. but a skyline, especially a gt-r is a totally different kettle of supercar slaying fish.

i think the translation of the slogan underneath is totally fooked. From what i understand though they're sold like they were spelt by a man with the literacy of a camel.

research = resrch etc etc.

I'm just cringeing at the fuel at the moment as it is majorly bad - need to run for a month and then see if i want to keep it.

As for the bikes i couldnt tell you. There was four of them....

Hello there, very nice GTS-T by the way, careful on the wet days . I am new to this Subaru forum and ownership (STI Wagon on its way from Japan) but I have owned an R32 Skyline GT-R or about 1 1/2 yrs now, running stage 1 mods, approx 400hp. IMHO it is one of the best cars you will buy for the money, and they have a mega tune-able smooth as silk 6 cyl motor.

Still think there is nothing like the sound of a Subaru with a loud pipe, Skylines sound sweet on full chat, but that flat 4 rumble is

Hope you enjoy the car.

Cheers

Ian

Yeah i agree Ian. I wont say one is better than the other as they both have excellent characteristics that i like.

Scooby

Everyone waves - the culture of owning one.
That noise - thats why i bought it.
The mad acceleration.
The cornering.

Skyline

Those rear lights hehe.
The scream of the engine as it spools up.
That "tiny" bit of exclusivity and admiration some people give them.

If i could afford to own both i would.
