One of mine, minus my front lip spoiler.

It doesn't sit too far down, under the bumper, although some seem to sit lower.

Very nice, like the stealth look. How much to get coated?

No it dosent, I had the fins very lightly dusted so as not to affect the cooling efficiency of the i/c.

cost around £38 and that included all the pipework.

I also have added two washer jets (like the headlamp washers) into the underside of the bumper and teed them into the sti washer bottle. that way I can give the i/c a blast of water using the headlamp washer button .

Not the best of angles but...

I/C water spray - a length of 10mm copper pipe running along the top of the intercooler with 1.5mm holes at intervals. 1Litre water reservoir in the boot, and a 5litre cylinder of compressed air, duty cycle via a pulse timer = water shoots, air blasts it out and mists it, repeat. I/C Spray Switch from an Sti Type R in the dash (momentary) and also a latching toggle switch beside it.
