Default Type R..22b style ..the new look...

Well the decision to take the car to next stage was made,I was going to sell but after digging the car out and going for a run I admited I wasn't ready to part with it yet and that the paintwork which let the car down needed sorting...well heres a few shots ..

Bumpers off ready to strip for prep and paint.

off we go to Cozvaux bodyshop Sheffield for the paint.

always liked the roof vent idea..spare roof @ scoobybits from an ra I broke last year..!

Well while the bumpers gettin painted may as well make this fit...

10 coats in total..3 stage pearl..

Back to Scoobybits for rebuild

Prior to mapping decided to alter to 3" pipework throughout exhaust, exhausts uk sorted the centre section and fitted a resonater to try and tame the noise

Nearly there now.
Mapping next week
vf34 fitted ,uprated pump fitted.
Teg sport for map next week
will update

Hope you like
Jase

It would be extremely close between this and Fatmanscooby's car for the best looking Type R on the site....

It looks Awesome.....

Each to their own m8

Otherwise we'd all be driving around in identical standard looking scoobs....

I like it Jase, and I'm glad you decided to sort out the paintwork. It always was a bit............well you know

That looks lush m8 Are those head lights and side lights the black style ones? If so, are they any good with the distribution?

Smart looking car ,still not keen on the front grille though as it does not match up with the bonnet.

It was a real cool car to begin with, real nice additions you've added on there.

Nice work.
