Love the black look guys!

What type of paint had you used to ensure that it doesn't flake and had you had to treat the silver lining first? Detangoed mine but wish I'd done the black att he same time.

STiIain - if you follow the detango threads they will show you how to open the lamps up; easy job and well worth it.

I rubbed the silver/chrome effect paint off with some Scotchbrite(only takes 10 mins)

Then sprayed it with some plasticiser,suppose plastic primer would do too and finished them using ordinary satin black spray from halfords
