Default New Impreza!! STi ****

Bye WRX.

Hello STi Spec-D!

Views:

Subaru finally fit headlights to their cars! Gone are the days of flickering candles.
The tyres are horrendously noisy, but extremely grippy.
Suspension is hard but not crashy, and the whole car feels tighter.
3-4k rpm in 4th will try to rip your head from your neck.
The leather interior is supportive and doesn't feel slippery at all!
The 6-speed box is a bit clunky, but feels nice.
The burble is more prenounced, even with the standard exhaust.

One is an STI with extra weight and comfort, the other is a focused lightened JDM Impreza

why are they still fitting that silly spoiler. It's not the height its just the design of it isn't nice.

Other than that, lovely car

The spec-D doesn't weigh any more than the standard STi in the real world. Maybe 3 kgs for the foglights and 3 kgs for the leather maximum.

They should put the smaller lip spoiler on instead, that would've been more 'discreet'

Looks stunning! Love the Spec D's. Subtle yet still holds its mark!

Nope, there isn't any extra sound deadening. Its still as noisy as a normal STi

I agree about the lip spoiler!

Will you be Modding then?

Maybe Bigger Exhaust, de-cat, large rear Spoiler ?

Probably not. It's actually my mums everyday transport, so it needs to stay sensible

The idea of upgrading from the WRX was that it was quicker without modifications.

Anyway, my modding toy is in the background of one of the pictures.
