basically 'hmm any one smell burning ?'
he stopped to investigate, didn't pop the bonnet due to the smoke and flames whisping from the engine bay, no extinguisher. called the fire bods and .... the result is what you see FUBAR

it was damage to lower extremities of the engine that did it
look at the fluids on the road
