DBM with painted calipers?
I went for the caliper paint... it's a two pack stuff and you mix small amounts, can't remember off hand what it is called
Some people use hammerite as well I think that works also.
I have done front and back in red, one point to watch out for is if you splash alloy wheel cleaner on them it will eat into them a little.
I have enough left from my initial purchase to give them another coat when the weather gets better.

that sliver and blue looks wicked. i love that look.
But i might be taken by the dark blue and gold. classy!! and looks easier to paint rather than doing individual letters.
Hmmmm....desisions......
When you guys did them did you just do one wheel at a time? ive only got normal jack so i guess it would have to be one at a time. How long does it take to dry enough to put wheel back on?

I jacked the car up, and also used blocks of wood. I did one caliper at a time, off the car and cleaned up with an attachment on an electric drill. Then coated with celulose, left to dry the painted with Hammerite.
I did one wheel at time over a couple of weekends.
It's easier if you can get the calliper off the car, but I did mine on the car. With my newage I'll probably go that little bit extra and get them professionally coloured, or try and swap for an MY05 colour coded pair.
If you're up for DIY...
a) make sure you give the callipers a damn good clean first
b) followed a few scrubs with a de-grease solution
c) wash off with plenty of water and dry
d) take your time painting
e) be careful around the disc and pad areas
You can see from my DBM and Gold... I got fed up with trying to make the Subaru lettering neat, so I just filled it all in
