Default **Goodbye Scooby, Hello MPG**

After 6 years of ownership and 3 Scooby's I've had enough lol, and bought this oil burner. Won't miss the Mpg of the scooby,or the 800 quid insurance, or whether its gonna be on my drive in the morning, or whether my missus is gonna be pulled out of the scooby at a set of traffic lights. Driven 50 odd miles in it allready and the fuel gauge hasn't moved lol. Quite torquey and fairly quick, Thanks to all scoobynetters over the last few months for all your advise and tips.
Chris

Thanks guys, I'm obviously gonna miss the BHP of my old JDM Sti, but this this isn't exactly slow, and the suspension is quite stiff aswell, and you can barely here the engine. Overall I'm well impressed. Diesels have come a long way, And I'm happy about the 18" wheels as standard

Very nice mate. Like the colour too.
So the scooby has gone. TDi and CDTi (whats the diff?) have come on a long way. When i was temp working at VFM in Luton the astra 1.9 cdti (150ps) where very torquey that I drove.

Take care mate.

Darren

p.s. you will have to full the tank up sooner or later

p.p.s when you are ready, send me the engine pics so i can do that see through bonnet thing for you.

No m8 unfortunatley not, Apparantly they don't do the Quattro on a 2.0 Diesel, you can only get it from the 2.5 upwards, but no matter, the handling is ace with the S-line sports suspension, I thew it round a roundabout and it felt just like the Impreza honest to god, Barely any horizontal movement.
