Default Anthracite or Silver, Anthracite or Silver...HELP !!!!

I just can't decide.

I'm changing my P-WRC 7.5 x 18's for some 8 x 18 Compomotive MO's (P-WRC's don't look as big as some 18's IMHO and are a mare to clean).

The MO's need a refurb, and I can't decide whether to go for the standard Silver or for Anthracite.
I like the clean look of Silver, but also the 'hard' look of Anthracite.

Done a bit of trickery, this photo used to contain Keiths (No-Bars-Krud) Wagon. But now has my car twice. With P-WRC's and MO's

Silver. Dark wheels drag a car down and make it look dowdy, like you can't be bothered to clean your wheels. They also make the wheels look smaller by blending in with the dark tyre and shadow of the arch. Defeats the point of fitting nice blinging 17's, IMHO.

I'd get the WRC1's done in anthracite

I could bore for England on how crap 8'' wide rims are for a 215 classic tyre

I'll take the one on the left of either pic. Silver multi-spoke wheels always suit silver classics IMHO.

silver on silver

Silver needs a contrasting wheel, anthracite looks great on silver.

Elmer,
Who said I was putting 215's on.
See my thread in Wheels/Tyres. I picked up some 225/35 Toyo's for £75 a corner

Offset it ET50 too, so fit better the Turini's etc..etc...

If I go for silver at least I could not bother cleaning the wheels and also have the Anthracite look

My wife has just commented that the Anthracite looks like a wheel trim has fallen off

Personally, I think Anthracite works better with the earlier Silver, rather then the MY99/00 Royal champagne Silver.

Nothing, it's a reflection of an out of shot building.
The car on the right is from the master image. The car on the left is a mirrior image replacing Keith's car. See original photo below :
