On its way....
....here is my classic wagon ive had for about 6 weeks. It was completely standard mostly mint to start with, MY2000 with 30k on the clock, black leather interior. Ive started to do some subtle mods inside and out, nothing too much.
1st flaps front and back
then wedges
then gear surround
...mesh fog covers colour coded
momo race airleather/aluminium ****
I have sti pedals and detango lights ordered and on their way. which will complete the interior/exterior look for me.
any thoughts?

Hold on tight mate.........the slide down the slippery slope of modding starts here.............
First thing to do IMO is lower it and sort out the brakes, then you'll need, in no particular order:
1) Full decat
2) bigger wheels
3) sti spoilers
4) ecu remap
5) de-tango
6) color-code
7) front splitter
8) panel filter
9) geometry settings
10) bigger turbo and intercooler
11) ....................etc etc
Enjoy and look after her, mines done 128000 miles on original engine and turbo and stills looks like this at 10 years old.

Si.
ps: I'm still working on the above list after 3 years of ownership.

looking real good mate. i have to say i usually dislike white rims but it goes so well with white car. nice!
Ill probably go down the performance mods way next!! as you say a slippery slope. Probably not the STI spoilers though. not sure the top one on a wagon looks any good. i prefer the standard top spoiler i think!
I can certainly see a new zorst and bigger wheels coming!!

Sti rear lights are a MUST mate!! They do pop up now and again on eBay and Scoobynet and although a bit on the pricey side, I think they make a massivedifference to the rear aspect of the car......any colour!!
As for the foglight....it's not difficult. I just used the right hand side reversing light location, swapped one or two wires in the plastic socket and then fitted a high intensity LED red bulb. It's maybe not as good as a proper fog light, but it works and is MOT legal. Saves having to clag an aftermarket one on.
As for the Sti rear spoilers.......again...personal taste, but I like the top one, but the waist one is a bit big. I want a top one for my car, but haven't got round to getting one yet. I keep spending money on wheels and stuff!!! LOL
Oh yeah....I might have some wheels for sale soon!!

oh mate, you are so..down the modding road now
ok well i gave you advice on the first questions so heres some more
Take it you are meaning the miniscoop version..well ppl differ on this a lot, but if your induction kit needs a little bit more cool air, then go for it. if on the other hand you still have the standard panel filter job, then it will be purely non-functional apart from giving your induction pipe a nice chill
see below for a pic
side repeater housing
Too fiddly so leave well alone if i was you. big chance of messing it up and looking pants
STI rears..yes they are expensive, yes you need to seal them properly, yes the fog light conversion is an added extra that you have to do,but....they do finish the back off a treat. see pic below.
ask anyone and they will agree and if you do a search, nearly every picture that starts off with..this is my scoob what do you think?? somewhere in the replies is someone saying..sti rears would look great !!
crystal sidelights...mmmm thats a yes
see pic below again.
loads of choice, smoked, crystal, clear etc. also take advantage of doing them and pop in brighter bulbs as stnadard they tend to look yellow against the main headlights.
see you did the fog covers..they look great mate
lovely job so far..admit it you based your mods on my car
(its ok to have a role model honest )
ok well i gave you advice on the first questions so heres some more
what do people recon to bonnet vent scoop? thinking of getting a colour coded one?? any views?
see below for a pic
side repeater housing
anybody done this? im thinking of painting them, but will have to be careful i guess! small paintbrush time!!

then changed my mind again as i felt like more cool air to my induction kit and got this one from milsport. again colour coded. so although it may look uneven, it does serve a purpose. some ppl have two mini scoops to even it up, but i dont personally agree as the other mini scoop is non functioning IMHO.
headlight protectors from scoobyworld. they do them with carbonfibre edging if i remember right. does the job it was supposed to do so they fit the criteria so to speak
as you will see from the second pic down with the dark picture, you can see the blue bulbs. in the daylight and only if you look close can you see them. but they give off a good light for sidelights and match the main lights so again they do what i wanted..full stop
glad my fog covers gave you some ideas..but you are being cryptic on the other plans, so i guess we will have to see what you have up your sleeve (apart from an arm and a hand )
keep it coming ..

Wagon rear lights are different to the saloon ones. They have a different shape on the inboard and top.
Have any of you seen the crystal headlights (kicking about on eBay) that have black surrounds inside the headlights.
Seems that crystal headlights have suddenly become readily available and now with the choice of standard or blacked look.
Not seen them on a car yet, but they look ok in principle.
