Default Hi From Warren

Hi there,
Just thought I would introduce myself as a new member.
I have had Subarus for about 3 years or so now, after owning lots of Golf GTI's, the most interesting one being a Golf GTI G60 which I had imported from Germany at the time I thought it was a hell of a beast with 183bhp, but nothing copared to my Scoobies.
The first one I had was a Deep Blue Mica W plate MY00 which was a top car for the 2 and half years I owned it. But when the clutch started to slip on it I decided to change the car after loads of looking around at various new shape imprezas WRXs and STIs I decided to go for an STI in WR blue MY03 which I bought from Monks Heath Motors Macclesfield, not to far from where I live. The performance is similar to the previous car until higher up the rev range. Where the previous feels like it has stopped this one just seems to keep on going and going. This is a excellent car really pleased wih it. Here are a few pics Cheers Warren

Overall a much more refined car with better fit and finish, also quicker as I now have PPP. The seats are just awful though, will be looking to change them to some Sti ones at some point.

I agree the new age impreza is more refined, but I enjoyed the almost go-cart feel to the classic shape. Your PPP kit was this fitted by your subaru dealer? because I am unsure what to do whether to go for a PPP or my local Subaru specialist has been working on some very tasty remaps with a stainless miltek exhaust.

Already on the car when I bought it, but believe it was dealer fitted.

Hi Allan
thanks for replying so quick, just had a look at your website , very good loads of information , and some nice photography.
I like the front headlight conversion to remove the orange indicator lenses
I bet if I had a go though they would not seal together properly, think I will leave it for now don't fancy the oven bit. Good idea though
