I like the scott lowe flaps compared to the SW and subaru ones as the edge on the SL ones are staright then curve in compared to the SW and subaru ones which go staright then go in at 45 deg, which looks horrible.

I like this
http://www.scottlowe.co.uk/ProdImages/classiclarge.jpg

Not these
http://www.scottlowe.co.uk/ProdImage...ge2%20copy.jpg

but i see now that the ones i like are only for classic's not newage

I hope you know what i am try to explain.

know exactly what you mean, but the difference between the new age and the classic ones that scott does, is down to the wheel arch and the shape of the new age. or maybe scott decided to get a bit fancy on the cad machine

who knows but correct me if i am wrong, but if you order from scott you have to specify the model, as the fittings/fixings (which are top notch by the way) differ between models. dont be getting a new age mudflap kit for your classic

oh and his mudflaps have improved over the months and the current batch are fade proof and quite tough.
to give you an idea i scrape mine every day coming off the drive and into my local car park and not a whimper at all from these babies

(goes away to touch some wood )

Here are my "home made ones" on my MY05 WRX,

sorry not a classic but the template was available for the classic too

Also worked out nearly half the price of the other ones and top quaility material,
a f**ker to cut though !!

no they look pants mate.
I did a quick photochop version to see how they looked and no !!
WR only go with wr blue cars full stop.
its your choice mate, but most people try and co-ordinate the flaps to the car colour as the flaps are meant to blend in and do a certain job.unless you are going for the rally slag look, in which case bloody bright red ones will do the job

Here is a shot of my homemade ones

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/FayeIce3.jpg

you can fine the templates and brakets for them here

http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/sho...ight=mud+flaps

theses things are tough.. just don't make them too long where you can run over them when you backup. they will probably rip your rear bumper right off *guilty* and use the heavier HDPL sheets .. the lighters stuff at highway speeds will fold up against your bumper and offer no protection against the road crap
