These are mine:

Cheap and Cheerful 17" TSW Evo III. I have yet to see another car with them, never mind another Scooby. Maybe people think they look s****

I would have gone for silver Speedline Chronos, but couldn't afford them at the time. You can get them on ebay now for a decent price

the pink comment was because i stumbled across a set of pink sti wheels this morning that are getting powder coated i believe.

i just wondered if anyone else was daft enough to have pink rims!!

i like the tsw's mate. looks good. didnt realise tsws fit. do u have 4pots?

my last scooby had 18" chronos, really set the car off but the new owner has kerbed them badly destroying them

I know, I noticed that. Unfortunately I have no money. Just bought a cheapish runaround car and have plans to up the power a bit more as I think the looks are near enough sorted

These two pages might help you :

http://www.scoobyphotos.com/subaru/i...c-standard.php

http://www.scoobyphotos.com/subaru/i...sic-import.php

Plenty of Silver Classic on there, this page has a few wheels on it to give you some ideas :

http://www.scoobyphotos.com/subaru/i...aru-groups.php

Hope that helps!

I cant access ebay at work to check, but I think they were either in parts under Subaru or Accessories when you search for "subaru"

It was only a couple of nights ago that I saw them and it was an on-line shop "buy them now" type of thing. Seemed to have plenty available.

dave thanks for the link mate, iv already got you saved in my favourites!! the only downside to the site is that it doesnt state what wheels they are so its a guessing game or better still, a hunt for the alloys game!! lol!!

rossyboy iv just looked again mate and even typed in Speedline Chronos but none came up for that price. if they did i would take them

yes, its one of the problems with having people upload images to the site, you lose some of the valuable information, such as wheel specs etc. Feel free to post up any of the pictures from the site on here if theres a wheel you like but don't know what it is, plenty of people on here have anorak degrees in wheel recognition from 400 yards

If you mean the silver car with the silver alloys, the 4th picture is a close up of them.

They are OZ Superlegerras.

Popular wheel as they are light.

i thought they were Superlegs!! doh!! ideally i wanted to a be a bit different to the rest but maybe i should pick a good wheel first and worry about that later

know of a man who will powder coat my wheels (whatever i buy!!) in some nice paint which im hoping is going to make my car stand out a bit

I've got 18" SuperLs on my MY00 and coming from 18" Team Dynamics Diablos the lighter weight of the OZs made a big difference. Even straight line speed improved noticably.

Anyway, get back to your dumpvalve thread so we can give you some more stick.

lol!! i appreciate your banter 7foot!! where u from?

diablos are very nice rims, can pick them up for decent money. normally 18s though as you had which i keep getting told will spoil the handling

although, the UK distributer for Whiteline products (my mechanic!!) has said that it will handle well with 18s aslong as you have good coilovers.

each to their own i gues!!

Glad you're taking it all as a laugh. I'm in South Bucks.

The Diablos are good looking wheel but they are slightly bling where the SuperLs are more motorsport, if you see what I mean. They also weigh a lot more.

With the Whiteline 22mm adjustable rear ARB, Whiteline droplinks, Eibachs, bumpsteer mod and Powerstation geometry I'm really pleased with how mine handles.

I've not heard many people say the same but the most noticable difference I found was the impact the heavy wheels had on acceleration.

Buy the lightest rims you can afford and like the look of.
