Cool bloody hell!- Meguiars 'tech wax' kicks ****! :)

Didnt have time for the full monty witrh the sw**sol this morning..
so whilst out I nipped over to halfrauds where I saw they had some new Meguiars NXT tech wax..

I used to use meguiars, but got naffed off with the hours of buffing etc.. (mint finish tho)

Anyway- got home, washed the motor and set to..
and bugger me sideways; it gives a cracking finish!

(MR2 turbo is the neighbour's)

and an **** shot:

This tech wax was a piece of p1sh to apply and smelled lovely too
NO nasty dust afterwards either.. just BLING BLING.
(btw- that glint of light on the front wing is NOT photosopped on)

*edit to add- ooh ooh ooh!! check out the freaky halo reflection on the fence boards (god I'm sad to notice that )

hmmm

Funny isnt it how a change of colour on the rims makes them look entirely different..
(we have identical rims under the black paint..)

Chrome, how much is that stuff you used and how long does it take to get it looking that good?

Does it take forever to buff it to that shine?

It's stunning.

as corradoboy says. 14.99
NXT TECH WAX

It took about an hour to complete the whole thing.
be careful if the panels are hot tho..
best to do it in the shade.
buffing takes no time at all.

yeah- thats a fair point Paul
It did cross my mind to put a coat of 'shield' over the top!

Don't worry- you're still my 'country with dodgy bank accounts' OL man

I just used the tech wax as I didnt have time for the full clay, cleanse and wax yesterday... for £15 It's a bargain for a tart up or even pre/mid carshow spruce..
I am going to leave it tho to see how long it lasts.
The longevity on the 3step meguiars is about 2 weeks in good weather; a week in bad in my experience.
Whereas the you know what last MUCH longer..

fwiw Paul- that shield kit is working out to be a bargain too.. still got LOADS of shield left

I use it on a regular basis, it lasts approx 3 weeks if you clean with a bucket of cold water once a week.

fwiw I do approx 200-300 miles a week.

Cool

Sitckymicky: I have use the entire meguiars range at some point in the last two years.. I used to use gold class on a regular basis- but got thru quite a lot of product..
more recently I switched to ***ssol and amazingly I have found it to be more economical as a tiny bit goes a LOOOOoooooong way (despite the severe intial layout up front)

so I can compare pretty much all of them if anyone wants me to..

tbh- the tech wax goes on Sooo easily and buffs off even easier it makes a lot of sense for a sensible price.

Btw- my tag came about as someone once asked me If I had some secret 'chrome style' polish - I 'm known amongst friends/acquaintances for my super shiny cars..

Although more recently its more apt as I am going bald faster than a drag bike

that and the fect that lately the car has been so much fun to drive hard that its normally covered in an inch of mud
