British superbikes today
A few pics from Thruxton. Luckily its only 5 miles from my front door ....
Please dont ask me what bike is what, who won (jap guy I think) who came second, what bike he was riding etc etc because I am bike iliterate. Just went along with my mates who are into bikes and to take a few pics etc ........
I used to love going to Thruxton as a kid BUT today it was ridiculous. You only have access to 1/3 of the track and from small viewing areas where 50,000 people wanted to view from. The last race I managed to see the tops of riders heads and that was about it ...... £21 well spent??? hmmmmmmm not convinced.

Sorry you did not like it, I enjoyed it greatly! The winner was Ryuichi Kiyonari on the Honda Plant Fireblade. Superb rider but made it a bit boring in the first race but the second was nailbiting with Lavilla giving him a run for his money and out riding Rutter! Can't wait for the next round.
