Phase 2 were MY99 cars (which its not)

We may be at cross purposes here - year or model year?
MY98 was facelifted from MY97 (some detail differences to grill from 97 IIRC, dash from Forrester) but still phase 1 engine
MY99 was facelifted from MY98 (phase 2 engine, different front end (lights, bumper, spoiler) and STI V4 mid level spoiler.

Looks like you got yourself a nice edition there mate....rare colour too
If it is a 97/98 then it could well have a VF22 turbo on it
De-cat, scoobysport downpipe and backbox and you will have yourself a proper little flier!
On another note, its also had the Alpine Sat Nav installed (see the rear ariels on the rear windows) so you can flog that gear on ebay

P.S. Adam - glad I made some kind of impression with my little outburst over there, what can I say - the excitement got to me!!!
Cheers for all comments ppl! - oh except you MidLifeCrisisII
