Are you sure that's a 98 it's difficult to tell from the front shot but the colour looks more like a phase 1 classic to me.

Have you got anymore photos? I'm sure that's the same colour as my sisters car and they don't do that colour on later models which is a shame because I love it. WRX's in that colour are quite unusual too

Paul, a 98 would be a phase 1 classic.

Phase 2 were MY99 cars (which its not)

Which one Every year practically saw a difference..LOL...

We may be at cross purposes here - year or model year?

MY98 was facelifted from MY97 (some detail differences to grill from 97 IIRC, dash from Forrester) but still phase 1 engine

MY99 was facelifted from MY98 (phase 2 engine, different front end (lights, bumper, spoiler) and STI V4 mid level spoiler.

What I meant was the difference between the early model with the more rounded front and the later more hard edged model. I believe this change took place in around 1997 but I'm not 100% sure about that. Hopefully you know what I mean.

Looks like you got yourself a nice edition there mate....rare colour too

If it is a 97/98 then it could well have a VF22 turbo on it

De-cat, scoobysport downpipe and backbox and you will have yourself a proper little flier!

On another note, its also had the Alpine Sat Nav installed (see the rear ariels on the rear windows) so you can flog that gear on ebay

Soulgirl - you only said half decent looking - I was shocked stunned and upset!!
Ive just appeared in a magazine actually doing some modelling, well, kinda.

Oh and it cost around the £8500 mark to get it and bring it into country etc, prob lookin around £9000 when its on the road.

P.S. Adam - glad I made some kind of impression with my little outburst over there, what can I say - the excitement got to me!!!

Cheers for all comments ppl! - oh except you MidLifeCrisisII
